The Institute of Store Planners is a 43 yr. old, volunteer supported Professional Society. With memberships in various categories, ISP is made up of individual design professionals - Architects, Designers, Store Planners, Project Directors, Construction Managers, Marketing Specialists, Graphic Designers, Lighting Consultants, and various specialists - engaged in the full time design, detailing and construction of retail spaces in whatever discipline they may occur. A strong network of Trade Affiliates - product suppliers and vendors who fabricate and distribute the materials and fixtures essential to the process, supports ISP Professionals. There are 14 active chapters in the U.S. and internationally.

As a professional design organization, The Institute of Store Planners remains totally focused on the expanding role of the designer/planner in perfecting the retail selling environment and the retail experience, the most exciting point of communication between the buying public, the retailer and the design/store planning professional.
