This site is dedicated to all who are now serving in our military ranks, as well as in past conflicts and wars. It is especially dedicated to those who served and sacrificed during the Vietnam War. For most people, little is known of the experiences of those who served their country during this time of conflict, including many of their own families, friends and relatives.
For me, the insignia of the USAF squadron I belonged to represents the memory of many fellow airmen I had the opportunity to serve with during my tour of duty from 1968-1969, in Vietnam. Some of those airmen would never come back home as I was fortunate enough to do!
On my office wall hang the Air Medal awards I received for flying 149 combat support missions in Vietnam. They were originally put there to satisfy my own pride and sense of accomplishment. However, over the past few years they have become the windows to reflections, experiences and memories dimmed in time, but never to be forgotten!
